“Stories Incarnate” is a visual, auditory, interactive storytelling experience utilizing augmented reality (AR) technology, voice recordings and 2D art to bring to life the multigenerational stories of Houston area refugees. The exhibit showcases the stories of 6 refugees from The DRC, Vietnam, Iraq, Cambodia, Venezuela and Afghanistan.

The process of making art helps me explore ways in which we are all connected to each other, across time and space. Through my exploration of folk art practices from different cultures, I utilize traditional techniques in creating contemporary paintings, installations and crafts.
